The history of Hawai’i runs deep and a few newspaper articles don’t even begin to cover a fraction of a percent. Most of what went down is just word of mouth and there’s something nice about that. Nonetheless, we sifted through hundreds of Hawaiian newspaper articles for days dating from the 1800’s up to the early 90’s to create these lightweight, quick-dry boardies. Learned a lot along the way. The rest is history. 

Each pair of shorts is made from a quick-dry, super elastic + lightweight 4-way-stretch polyester material designed to reinforce performance in the water while maintaining durability in heavy conditions. Each piece comes equipped with a zipper-sealed back pocket with an official Black Mountain stitch tag, embroidered Black Mountain and Hawaiian Flag details, as well as a butter-soft inner-fly lycra liner for extra comfort during long sessions.
